Mother's Day

Yesterday was was ridiculously hot. But, we are a bunch  that can't be cooped up indoors too long without going stir-crazy, so we grabbed some lunch and headed out to Prospect Park. It's a wonderful park that hosts a wedding venue, a preschool and a theater. The park is so big and has so many trees that while standing at any one of the venues, you can't see the others. It's a fun place to walk around and explore, although it would have been more fun had it not been so hot.

Despite the heat, it was a fantastic Mother's day- I got to relax and enjoy my kiddos.

The O's acting out a sword fight on stage.

A view of the valley

This is what Charlie does when I ask him to smile

A special treat

I think we can all agree 105 is ridiculous

Why must he do this?

  1. 105 IS ridiculous. It looks like a great day in the park though!

  2. My husband does silly things too, I was trying to take a picture of him walking with the boys at the zoo from behind and he turns around and decides to be a smarty and give me the one finger salute as I hit the button. I wanted to kick his butt but, its too cute to do that. LOL

Glad you had great mothers day.

  3. Holy Hotness! 105!! Not ready for those numbers anytime soon. I was stopping by to let you know I've nominated you for the Leibster Award. Please check out my blog to learn more about it, and hopefully except my nomination :)
